After receiving nearly 12,000 e-mails urging the company to go fur-free, Zappos.com recently stopped selling all items with fur and pledged to stay fur-free. Unfortunately for animals, Amazon.com, a Zappos competitor, continues to sell fur.
Animals killed for their fur spend their entire lives exposed to all weather conditions in cramped, filthy wire cages. Fur farmers use the cheapest and cruelest killing methods—including suffocation, electrocution, gassing, and poisoning—and these often ineffective methods mean that some animals are conscious and able to feel pain when they are skinned.
Now PETA need you to help them convince Amazon to follow Zappos' lead and become fur-free, as so many other retailers—including Nike, Gap, J. Crew, Polo Ralph Lauren, Tommy Hilfiger, and Forever 21—have.
Please use the link below to send an e-mail to Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos asking him to remove fur from the Amazon.com Web site permanently!
